PGSC is a 6500 square foot, three OR private surgical facility offering orthopedic, plastic, general, and vascular surgical services. In addition to private cosmetic surgery services, PGSC provides services for disability insurers, corporations, and WorkSafeBC (www.worksafebc.com). Cogentis provided daily management services for PGSC including operational policies and processes, financial services (payables, receivables, and all billing services), supplier relations and purchasing, human resources management and payroll, marketing and business development, strategic planning and Board advisory services. Advanced Clinical Facilities, Kelowna, BC

Cogentis provides business planning and development services to this corporation, formed by six physicians and surgeons in Kelowna in response to an opportunity for publicly funded, privately delivered care. Cogentis has been involved since the inception of this project, and will see it through to opening in the first quarter of 2009.

Cogentis Financial Recoveries

Cogentis has developed a system to reclaim fees for those services currently provided within the public system that are the financial responsibility of third party payers. These include WorkSafeBC (WCB), RCMP, ICBC, and out-of-country payers. Cogentis offers these services to hospitals and regional health authorities in Canada.
